Sharing her ancestors’ stories was a way to honor them, and through that process, enlighten the current and future generations as to how they came to be whom they are today.
As the youngest child, born in the early 40’s, into a typical family, headed by a coal miner and homemaker, she invites you to follow her personal journey. She move cautiously through life and overcome difficult phases, first as a shy but mischievous child, then a timid teenager and finally a mature adult that found her voice and spoke out against injustices, learned how to handle unhealthy relationships, and became a motivator to those around her. Her budding confidence led her to become a Mystery Shopper. She gives an account of how world events changed the history of America and the world she grew up in. Her journey has exposed her to many people, from all walks of life, who became lifelong friends. On January 1, 2000, she found herself in the Oval Office of the White House, standing next to the President of the United States and the First Lady.
